About Our Roots!

Welcome to 10th Planet Jiujitsu Auburn

We are Southeast Nebraska's #1 source for martial arts instruction. Award Winning, Experienced, and Technical Jiu-Jitsu and Self-Defense Instruction.

With over 35 years of Experience Sensei Derek Stewart has amassed a jiujitsu legion in the midwest having created SIMS Martial Arts Academy in 1997 in a Garage to now multiple Affiliates and Teams throughout the midwest led by Black Belts and Coaches produced under the his leadership and instruction.

Now settled in Auburn Nebraskas as of 2019 raising a family, homeschooling his children, and teaching, we are on a mission to become a Jiujitsu Powerhouse in small town Nebraska!

In 5 years we’ve planted strong roots. Our team has grown into a formidable and competitive jiujitsu team at all ages respected throughout the Midwest. Battle test and now Time Honored. We’ve developed a team that spans ages 3 years old up to 65 years old. A dedicated jiujitsu brotherhood that has helped many of us form timeless and meaningful bonds that only the jiujitsu mats could forge!
